Our Story
KALKA + Partner, a prominent woodworking company in Rwanda, was founded by Norbert KALKA, a German architect and regional planner.
In 2007, Norbert began supporting local charities, deepening his connection with Rwanda and its people. Recognizing the potential for business opportunities, he established KALKA + Partner in 2008 with a Rwandan partner as managing director.
in 2008, after the partner’s departure, Norbert fully committed to Rwanda, relocating from Germany with his extensive entrepreneurial experience.
In 2010, Sabine KALKA, a self-employed accountant and tax consultant from Germany, joined as managing director, driving the company’s growth and success.
The company addressed the market’s need for high-quality sun protection products for modern office buildings with extensive glass facades. This led to the development of professional and flexible heat and glare protection solutions.
KALKA + Partner has since become a trusted name in Rwanda’s woodworking industry. Our commitment to excellence, innovation, and customer satisfaction fuels their success.
With sustainable practices and a deep understanding of the local market, KALKA + Partner continues to contribute to the growth and development of Rwanda’s construction and woodworking sectors.
